Luis Sinisterra was of great importance for Leeds United on Tuesday evening. The former Feyenoord wing attacker made it 2-1 against Nottingham Forest just before half-time. Because no more goals were scored after the break, the Colombian’s goal turned out to be the winning one. Leeds climbs to thirteenth place with the victory and is two points clear of number eighteen Bournemouth.

Particularities
Nottingham took the lead in the twelfth minute. Emmanuel Dennis passed from the left to Orel Mangala, who was waiting on the edge of the box. The Belgian deliberately held back, got rid of his direct opponent and found the short corner with a hard shot: 0-1. However, the visitors could not enjoy the lead for long. In the twentieth minute, Jack Harrison managed to hit the mark on a pass from Junior Firpo. The latter was lined up as a left back, so Pascal Struijk moved to the center. The Dutchman saw how Sinisterra made it 2-1 just before half-time. The attacker slalomed in from the left side of the box and found the far corner with a placed shot: 2-1. Leeds held on in the second half and can therefore add three potentially crucial points.
