Sevilla won the Europa League for the seventh time on Wednesday evening. The Andalusians were too strong for José Mourinho’s AS Roma in the Puskás Aréna in Budapest after penalties. Paulo Dybala gave the Romans the lead after more than half an hour, but saw teammate Gianluca Mancini tie the score in the second half with an own goal. No goals were scored in extra time, so penalties had to decide the game. Mancini turned out to be the schlemiel again. Roger Ibanez also failed.
