Atalanta won effortlessly on Monday when they visited Empoli. Thanks to a fantastic heel from Gianluca Scamacca, the new number four in Serie A took the lead in no time. Teun Koopmeiners then enhanced his competitive return with a goal, after which Scamacca set the final score at 0-3.

In addition to Koopmeiners, Hans Hateboer and Marten de Roon also started in the starting line-up at Atalanta. The highlight of the match came in the fifth minute of play. With a beautiful heel ball behind the supporting leg, Scamacca scored: 0-1.

After half an hour, Koopmeiners doubled the score with a hard shot from sixteen meters, which flew through the legs of goalkeeper Etrit Berisha: 0-2. With a hard shot into the short corner, Scamacca decided the match shortly after halftime: 0-3. The assist came from De Roon, but consisted of a simple pass.
