Bukayo Saka dropped out of the game between Arsenal and Crystal Palace on Monday evening at halftime. The twenty-year-old attacker of the Gunners was kicked hard by James McArthur at the end of the first half. Remarkably, referee Mike Dean only gave a yellow card.
At a 1-0 score, Arsenal came under pressure as the first half progressed. McArthur apparently wanted to grab a falling ball from the air and full on target. However, between him and the ball was Saka, who was kicked full on the calf by McArthur. The replay shows that the Scottish midfielder had no eye for the ball, but Dean and the VAR left it with a yellow card.

Saka screamed in pain and stumbled to the sidelines after a treatment. At halftime it was decided that the England international would not return for the second half. Albert Sambi Lokonga came on as a replacement.
