PSV’s line-up for the make-up game with Arsenal is known. Ruud van Nistelrooij won the last two matches against FC Zurich and FC Utrecht with marked figures (5-0 and 6-1) and therefore decides not to change anything in his basic line-up. That means that Guus Til also starts at the point of the attack. The game at the Emirates Stadium starts at 7 p.m.
At PSV, Luuk de Jong, Noni Madueke and Mauro Júnior will return to the match selection. The three have been struggling with lingering injuries in recent months, but are fit enough to take action. Van Nistelrooij indicated that none of them will start in the base. “We have to be careful with them, but they can make minutes. Otherwise I would not have taken them,” said the coach. For Mauro it could be his first minutes of the season, Madueke only participated in the preparation.
Phillipp Mwene, André Ramalho, Armando Obispo and Philipp Max form the back line, just like in the last two games. Joey Veerman, Ibrahim Sangaré and Erick Gutiérrez form the diaphragm. Last weekend Til could still count on a basic place and he was accurate twice as an occasional striker. He can show it again against Arsenal. From the flanks, Til is joined by Xavi Simons and captain Cody Gakpo. Walter Benítez is naturally the goalkeeper.
