PSV’s line-up for the return match against Galatasaray in the second preliminary round of the Champions League has been announced. Roger Schmidt makes one change: Yorbe Vertessen makes way for Cody Gakpo in the front. PSV defends a 5-1 lead and is therefore almost certain of a place in the next round, in which Celtic or FC Midtjylland will be the opponent. The match will be played at Istanbul Basaksehir’s Fatih Terim Stadium from 8 p.m., as work is currently underway at Galatasaray Stadium.

Compared to the home game, PSV again has Yvon Mvogo at its disposal. The goalkeeper is back from vacation after his European Championship participation with Switzerland. On the other hand, the absence of Pablo Rosario, who left for OGC Nice, came in a few minutes before time last week. Mohamed Ihattaren is not among them either. The attacking midfielder called in sick for training on Sunday and did not travel with the selection to Istanbul a day later. However, he was photographed on Tuesday at the OGC Nice training complex.

The only change at PSV is the entrance of Gakpo, which is at the expense of Vertessen. Last week, Gakpo started on the bench and came in after 62 minutes. The the Dutch international joined the group of players relatively late after his European Championship participation and was therefore kept on the bench in the home game.
