The relationship between Frank Lampard and N’Golo Kanté has become seriously disrupted, so you know Le Parisien to report. According to the French newspaper, it could be the prelude to a departure of the French midfielder from Chelsea. Kanté reportedly ‘dreams’ of a switch to Real Madrid, while Internazionale would also still be concrete in the market.

Kanté wanted to attend a wedding of a friend for the current international period and asked Lampard if he could skip a training for this. The Chelsea manager declined this request, much to the discontent of the 29-year-old midfielder. Le Parisien writes that Kanté struggled to accept Lampard’s decision and predicts these tensions could be a prelude to a summer departure from Chelsea. The 42-time French international would dream of a switch to Real Madrid.

At an earlier stage, Kanté was already linked to a switch to Real Madrid, but the Royal would not have any concrete interest for the time being. Internazionale is interested and made an attempt to loosen the midfielder from Chelsea in the last transfer window. However, the advances of trainer Antonio Conte, with whom he previously worked at Stamford Bridge, came too late in the transfer window, so Kanté decided to stay at Chelsea for at least another year.

L’Équipe wrote in April that Chelsea was only willing to say goodbye to Kanté if an amount of seventy million euros was put on the table. His contract in London will continue until mid-2023 the Blues can also demand a hefty transfer fee next summer. Chelsea took over Kanté from Leicester City for almost € 36 million in the summer of 2016 and for the time being he made 175 appearances for the English top club, with whom he won the Premier League, the Europa League and the FA Cup.
