Allard Lindhout will serve as the referee on Sunday in the possible championship match of Feyenoord against Go Ahead Eagles. With a win over coach René Hake’s team, the team from Rotterdam will secure the sixteenth national title in club history. The kick-off of the game is on Sunday at 4.45 p.m.

Lindhout is assisted in De Kuip by Dyan Fikkert and Rogier Honig. With three more league matches on the schedule, Feyenoord’s lead over PSV is currently eight points. Lindhout whistled a game of the team from Rotterdam three times earlier this season. Strikingly enough, the team of trainer Arne Slot did not win any of these duels.

In a competition context, FC Twente was drawn 1-1 and lost to PSV (4-3), after which Ajax proved too strong in the semi-finals of the TOTO KNVB Cup with 1-2. If Feyenoord does not manage to beat Go Ahead on Sunday afternoon, it may still be able to crown itself as national champion later that evening. PSV loses points against Fortuna Sittard the stadium club also no longer traceable by the people of Eindhoven.
