Howe reacted to the news of Isak at the press conference on Tuesday in the run-up to the meeting with Everton. “It’s very frustrating for him. He really wants to leave his mark here.”

Isak came over from Real Sociedad last transfer period for seventy million euros, which meant a record amount for Newcastle. To date, the former Willem II player has only played three games for Newcastle, but managed to make a strong impression by scoring two goals.
