Real Madrid is expressly interested in the services of Jude Bellingham, it reports Mundo Deportivo. According to the Spanish sports newspaper the Royal became convinced of the nineteen-year-old Englishman during the last World Cup, who left an excellent impression in Qatar. Real Madrid would have to dig deep into their pockets to loosen Bellingham at Borussia Dortmund. The Germans reportedly aim for a transfer fee of 150 million euros, although the asking price would be negotiable.

Mundo Deportivo writes that Dortmund is now taking into account a departure of his teenager. Earlier on Wednesday, the English newspaper The Sun to report that Bellingham prefers a move to Real Madrid. With that, the other interested clubs, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, would fish behind the net. Bellingham has been one of the most coveted players in the transfer market since his move from Birmingham City to Dortmund in the summer of 2020. Bellingham is near the Schwarzgelben until the summer of 2025, giving the club a strong negotiating position.

Due to Bellingham’s good performance with the Three Lions wrote Mark at the beginning of December that the midfielder’s transfer to the Spanish capital was beginning to take on ‘a galactic dimension’, but nevertheless the Champions League record holder still seems to be emphatically interested. Bellingham was eliminated by France in the quarterfinals of the World Cup with England. In the group stage, he managed to leave a good impression in the games against Iran, the United States and Wales. Just like in those matches, the midfielder was also a basic player in the eighth final against Senegal. Bellingham scored the opening goal against Iran.

Josho Gvardiol
Mark also reports on Wednesday that Josko Gvardiol is high on Real Madrid’s wish list. The 22-year-old Croatian made an excellent impression at the World Cup and reached the semi-finals with his country, in which France turned out to be a size too big. Gvardiol has convinced Real with his physical qualities and defensive security. The RB Leipzig mandekker still has a contract in Germany until the summer of 2027, which means that, just like for Bellingham, he has to dig deep into his pockets. The German sports newspaper BILD linked Gvardiol to a domestic move to Bayern Munich, but technical director Hasan Salihamidzic denied interest in the World Cup revelation, as the club has enough options for central defense with Matthijs de Ligt, Dayot Upamecano, Lucas Hernández and Josip Stanisic.
