Real Madrid denies in a Comunicado Official on Saturday that negotiations have recently taken place with Kylian Mbappé’s management about a transfer in the summer of 2024. The superstar of Paris Saint-Germain has again been heavily linked to The Royalbut according to the Spanish top club there is no impending deal.
“Given the information recently published by various media, speculating about alleged negotiations between player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid would like to state that this information is completely incorrect and that no such negotiations have taken place with a player who is part of PSG,” read Saturday’s statement.
Mbappé was close to leaving PSG last summer, which gave the attacker an ultimatum. Leave with another one-year contract in your pocket, or re-sign at short notice. However, a new contract was not signed, much to the dismay of the Parisian management. Mbappé was not allowed to attend the training camp and trained with the players who were allowed to leave.
PSG club management even indicated in a personal conversation that there was no future for Mbappé at the Parc des Princes.
