Galatasaray convincingly reached the fourth round of the Turkish cup tournament on Wednesday evening. The team of trainer Okan Buruk won 7-0 against Kastamonuspor at home. Goals from Milot Rashica (two), Haris Seferovic, Bafétimbi Gomis, Mathias Ross, Kerem Aktürkoglu and Hamza Akman ensured that Gala very convincingly.

It was Rashica who opened the scoring for the home side. The attacker went in, decided to take out the penalty area from outside and saw his effort end up in the net via a defender of Kastamonuspor: 1-0. A few minutes before half time, Seferovic doubled Galatasaray’s lead. The attacker luckily got the ball with him and shot home in a controlled manner: 2-0. Things went fast for the home side in the second half. Rashica was sent deep down the right flank and found Sérgio Oliveira on the edge of the penalty area.

The Portuguese then gave up on Gomis, who slid in the 3-0. Just three minutes later, Rashica made his second of the evening. Gomis kept the overview and passed the ball to the ex-Vitessenaar, who then shot in hard and low: 4-0. Ross scored the fifth goal with a header from Aktürkoglu’s free kick, while the latter would eventually score the sixth goal. Akman signed ten minutes before time for the seventh and final goal: 7-0.
