Rangers won the Old Firm Derby on Saturday afternoon. The number two in the Scottish Premiership won at home with no less than 3-0 against Celtic, who had already become champions last weekend. The hits came on Saturday in the name of Todd Cantwell, John Souttar and Fashion Sakala.
Particularities:
Cantwell opened the scoring on behalf of Rangers in the fifth minute. A long shot from John Lundstram was saved by Joe Hart, but the goalkeeper had no answer to Cantwell’s rebound. Half an hour later, central defender Souttar doubled the score by heading in a corner: 2-0. The final chord came twenty minutes before time from Sakala, who took advantage of Celtic’s loss of possession and outplayed Hart. The Ibrox Stadium was on fire.
