The future of Memphis Depay remains a topic of discussion in France. Le Progrès was able to report on Monday that after Barcelona and AC Milan, Internazionale is also in the market for the multifunctional attacker of Olympique Lyon. There would be les Gones no concrete offers have yet been received, or so it sounds.

Despite the alleged interest, Barcelona and the top clubs from Milan have not yet made an official offer in Lyon. Le Progrès believes that the wait-and-see attitude of Barcelona, AC Milan and Inter could lead to much less bidding for Depay in the end. At the offices in Lyon, they are afraid that the asking price for the Dutch attacker could drop considerably in the coming weeks. Depay, who will be the semi-finalist in the Champions League until mid-2021, can switch clubs until October 5.

The Telegraph recently stated firmly that Depay had reached a personal agreement with Barcelona. The Catalans have also reached a deal with Lyon on a transfer fee of 25 million euros. Technical director Juninho, however, denies in all keys that an agreement has already been reached between both clubs. However, Barcelona must first sell in order to pay Depay and have therefore put the transfer in the waiting room for the time being.

AC Milan hopes according to Sky Italia to take advantage of the doubts surrounding Depay’s transfer to Barcelona. They would be willing to involve Lucas Paquetá in a deal with Lyon. The French, however, see no point in this and are sticking to the asking price of thirty million euros. According to Le Progrès Despite everything, AC Milan’s interest in Depay has not yet been put on the back burner.
