Sevilla and Isco have reached an agreement on the termination of his contract, it reports Mark. The thirty-year-old playmaker signed another two-year contract in August loose nerves. The fact that Isco is at odds with the Seville club management would be the basis for the contract termination.

According to Mark Isco got into a fight with technical director Monchi a few weeks ago. The midfielder failed to live up to the high expectations at Sevilla in his short period at the club. Isco came to nineteen official matches and was good for one goal and three assists. He scored his only goal in the Champions League match against FC Copenhagen (3-0 win).

Isco played for Real Madrid for the past nine seasons, but was allowed to leave on a free transfer last year. Trainer Carlo Ancelotti barely used the now thirty-year-old stylist and informed him that a longer stay in Santiago Bernabéu was no longer possible. In the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, Isco ran into an old acquaintance. Julen Lopetegui, the trainer of Seville, already worked with Isco as national coach of Spain and as a trainer at Real Madrid. However, the Spanish coach was fired by the club management at the beginning of October due to disappointing results. Sampaoli was right in the starting blocks to take over from Lopetegui.

Under Sampaoli, there was a draw with Real Betis (1-1) before the World Cup break and lost to Real Sociedad (1-2). Sevilla is still in a disappointing eighteenth place in LaLiga. The Andalusians are PSV’s next opponent in the Europa League. Sevilla first plays in its own Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on February 16, after which the return in Eindhoven is scheduled a week later.
