PSV will investigate what exactly happened on Wednesday evening in the Philips Stadium in the home match against Galatasaray (5-1) in the second preliminary round of the Champions League. It seems that in some places Galatasaray fans were among the PSV supporters and that they were celebrating Emre Kilinc’s goal too exuberantly. On images of, among others ESPNpresenter Milan van Dongen, it seemed that angry PSV supporters were running towards Galatasaray supporters. Earlier during the match, they had to be stopped by the PSV bench, Van Dongen wrote.

“We are investigating it. It’s very annoying. It’s too early to make a statement about it. We’ll come back to it later,” a PSV spokeswoman said The Telegraph know.
