PSV’s line-up is known for the match against Arsenal. The team of coach Ruud van Nistelrooij can qualify for the next round of the Europa League in the home game with the English superpower, but is dependent on the result of the game between FC Zurich and FK Bodø/Glimt. The duel in the Philips Stadium starts at 6.45 pm and is led by the Italian Marco Di Bello.

Van Nistelrooij has seen a large number of players return from the PSV infirmary in recent weeks. De Jong, Mauro Júnior, Noni Madueke and Marco van Ginkel are all back, but are not yet in the basic team. That honor is reserved for Xavi Simons, who is in the point of attack. The flanks are covered by Anwar El Ghazi (right) and Cody Gakpo (left). Guus Til, who has often played as a striker in recent weeks, has lost his place in the team due to the starting position of El Ghazi.

In the midfield there is again a place for Erick Gutiérrez. The Mexican stayed on the bench against FC Groningen (4-2) for ninety minutes, but can show it again against Arsenal. Joey Veerman and Ibrahim Sangaré are the other midfielders. In the rear, Jordan Teze loses his starting spot. Van Nistelrooij chooses to start with Phillipp Mwene as right back and also posts Jarrad Branthwaite in the defence. Mwene and Branthwaite see André Ramalho and Philipp Max next to them in the defence.

PSV line-up: Benitez; Mwene, Ramalho, Branthwaite, Max; Sangare, Veerman, Gutierrez; El Ghazi, Simons, Gakpo
