PSV takes a longer stay of Jorrit Hendrix into account. The 25-year-old midfielder is in the interest of Spezia, but according to the Eindhovens Dagblad a switch is definitely not a done deal. Goalkeeper Jeroen Zoet was allowed to move to the Italian club for a low amount of money, but this does not apply to Hendrix.

The midfielder is open for a transfer to Spezia, but for now there is no deal. The Italians initially wanted to hire Hendrix and indicated to PSV and his agent that they could not pay much, as owner Gabriele Volpi can only invest in the club ‘gradually’ due to financial rules of the Italian federation.

A complicating factor for Hendrix is that the midfielder’s contract expires next summer. A new offer from PSV did not materialise, so the club still has the chance to earn a nice amount of money from Hendrix until October 6. The one-time national team still has the desire to play in a big league, so it sounds.

If Hendrix already wants to make the step to a foreign top league, Spezia should, according to the Eindhovens Dagblad a little over three million euros. If the Italian club doesn’t want to get into the pouch, Hendrix will probably start the season as player of PSV. He has played 224 games for PSV so far, resulting in 8 goals and 17 assists.
