NAC Breda and PSV are still waiting for a transfer fee that should have been paid in 2018 by FC Chiasso for Rai Vloet. At the time, the Swiss club took over the attacking midfielder from NAC for 399 thousand euros, but has not yet transferred a euro to the Breda people and PSV, where Vloet enjoyed his youth training and made his debut in professional football. The people of Eindhoven continue to hope for the transfer of a training allowance for Vloet.

Football International reports that FIFA has punished Chiasso with an international and national transfer ban and a fine of 20,000 Swiss francs for not paying the transfer fee for Vloet. In the past three and a half years there have been several lawsuits and it always emerged that the Swiss club had to pay the transfer amount to NAC and PSV.

The transfer from Vloet to Chiasso immediately raised major question marks. The club was not active at the highest level at that time and, moreover, the midfielder was not registered with the Swiss Football Association. In the end, Vloet did not play a minute for Chiasso and was sold within a month to Frosinone, who had just been promoted to Serie A at the time.

More than two years later, Vloet said in an interview with Football International that he knew no better than to make a transfer to Frosinone. The creative playmaker did not concern himself with why this transfer had to go through a way station in Switzerland, because he said he “wasn’t concerned with that kind of legal business”. In November, Vloet himself was in negative news after he was arrested after a fatal accident on the A4. Heracles Almelo initially decided to include him in the selection, but later came back to this. Through general manager Rob Toussaint, the club subsequently announced that Vloet will never play a match for Heracles again.
