The title in the Kitchen Champion Division and the associated promotion is very close to SC Cambuur. The team of trainer Henk de Jong had a rough start against Helmond Sport on Friday evening, but in the end the 26th victory was credited in the 34th round: 4-1. Robert Mühren was again very important for Cambuur with two goals, which has a twelve-point lead over number two De Graafschap and fifteen over Almere City FC with four matches ahead of Almere City FC, which has a much worse goal difference: +69 to +27 . The Super Farmers will only come into action against Young PSV on Monday, while Almere will meet Go Ahead Eagles on Saturday.

SC Cambuur – Helmond Sport 4-1
Mühren appeared to open the scoring in minute 24, but the top scorer goal was canceled due to offside. A minute later, the opening goal was still scored, but on the other side of the field. Jelle Goselink won the goal on behalf of the visitors. Nevertheless, the leader went into half time with a lead. After a wonderful pass from Mees Hoedemakers, Mühren managed to produce the equalizer in two instances. In the final minute of the first half, a cross from the right ended up in front of Issa Kallon’s feet and the attacker knew what to do with the great opportunity: 2-1.

Cambuur walked further away from Helmond five minutes after the break. The home team received a penalty after Kallon was brought down by Boyd Reith. Mühren then made no mistake from eleven meters: 3-1. The attacker now has 34 hits this season in all competitions. Twenty minutes before the end, the evening became even more annoying for Helmond due to an own goal by Alec van Hoorenbeeck. Thanks to the victory, Cambuur is on 82 points from 34 duels and since two teams are allowed to promote, the return to the Eredivisie has now only become a matter of time. In case of a misstep by Almere City against Go Ahead on Saturday evening, promotion for the Frisians is a fact.

FC Dordrecht – FC Den Bosch 2-6
The visitors from Den Bosch had a dream start in Dordrecht. After a corner kick from the home club, FC Den Bosch set up a counter, with Ringo Meerveld opening the score. After twenty minutes of play, the assignment for FC Dordrecht became even more difficult. Romano Postema, who was rented from FC Groningen, took the ball well and then fired home: 0-2. In minute 32 Meerveld ran away cheering after a goal, after good preparatory work by Mats Deijl. With almost an hour of play, Jizz Hornkamp made a contribution after a good individual action and ditto shot past goalkeeper Liam Bossin: 0-4. When the battle was already over, Dordrecht did something back through Richie Musaba in the 63rd minute. The midfielder also signed for the 2-4 of three minutes later The Sheep’s Heads. The final agreement, however, was for Den Bosch with goals from Meerveld, his third in the 86th minute, and a utilized penalty kick from Hornkamp with two minutes left on the clock.

Roda JC Kerkrade – NAC Breda 3-3
The meeting in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium got off to a quiet start, but the fence was over when Patrick Pflücke created the first danger on behalf of Roda JC with a placed shot towards the bottom right corner. Roy Kortsmit saved that effort, but a few minutes later the closing post of NAC still had to capitulate. From a corner kick from the right Danny Bakker headed the post, but from the rebound it was Ali Messaoud who was able to punch in for an empty goal: 1-0. NAC’s answer came after half an hour of play. After Lewis Fiorini placed the ball on the crossbar, the midfielder got a second chance after a carom in front of the goal: this time he shot the 1-1 against the ropes at the penalty spot.

Three minutes later, the Limburgers again gained a lead, although the goal was not immune from controversy. Referee Jannick van der Laan failed to notice that Amir Absalem gave a cross to Thijmen Goppel from behind the back line, making the 2-1 unjustified. Just before half time, Mounir El Allouchi drew the same with a nice shot from outside the box: 2-2. After the break, Roda JC took the lead for the third time, when Bakker gave goalkeeper Kortsmit a devastating swipe at Goppel: 3-2. However, NAC once again showed resilience. Robin Schouten put down a measured cross at the far post, where Mario Bilate was given the freedom to nod in: 3-3.

TOP Oss – MVV Maastricht 2-2
The first chance of the match was noted by the visitors. Substitute Djibril Dianessy produced a cross from about thirty meters, but the leather blew towards the top left corner, which meant that goalkeeper Bo Geens had to save the day. After half an hour of play, the leather on the other side fell in. A cross from Livio Milts was extended with the head by Mart Remans, who saw his bet in the far corner come in: 1-0. Just under ten minutes before half-time, MVV tied the score when a deflected shot landed in front of Dianessy. The attacker finished cold-blooded: 1-1. Gaston Salasiwa gave his team a very nice lead seven minutes after the break. He got the ball on the left side of the field and cut in, after which he had a powerful swipe to find the right intersection: 1-2. The final chord was played by TOP Oss, which won a point thanks to a penalty by Olivier Rommens: 2-2.

FC Eindhoven – Young Ajax 3-0
When meeting in Eindhoven, all goals fall in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, the home team broke the spell from a free kick. Ajax goalkeeper Daan Reiziger was able to reverse Jasper Dahlhaus’s bet, but from the rebound the alert Iker Pozo managed to score the opening goal for Eindhoven. Halfway through the second act, the home team took an advance on the three points. Ajax player Kenneht Taylor, who missed a penalty in the first half, wanted to get rid of the ball from an Eindhoven free kick. The midfielder wanted to clear the ball, only his bicycle kick disappeared through the head of Maarten Peijenburg into the goal of Young Ajax. The final chord was provided by Jacky Donkor in minute 90. He got the ball beautifully played by Brian De Keersmaecker and with a nice effort goalkeeper Daan Reiziger was left without a chance: 3-0.

Telstar – Excelsior 1 – 1
It was Excelsior that was the parent in the opening phase, but Elías Már Ómarsson, among others, did not have the sights on it. Telstar then also showed up on the battlefield and in the 37th minute the opening goal was found. It was Cas Dijkstra who delivered a tailor-made cross to Ozan Kökcü, who finished cool-blooded: 1-0. In the second act, the Rotterdammers tightened the thumbscrews. Excelsior’s attacking intentions did not have the desired effect for a long time, but in the last minute of regular playing time, the club came alongside. It was Sondre Skogen who put the 1-1 final score on the scoreboard from a corner by Luigi Bruins.

Jong FC Utrecht- FC Volendam 2-3
The team from Volendam won a duel at Sportpark Zoudenbalch for the first time in club history. In Utrecht, given the four goals, the first half was particularly fascinating. After a smooth attack, Samuele Mulattieri signed for the opening goal. Shortly afterwards, Odysseus Velanas lashed out hard on the other side, as a result of which Jong Utrecht quickly returned to the game. Things got even better for the hosts when Oussama Alou fired in hard and high. Seven minutes before the half-time signal, Boy Deul saw a hard header disappear through the bottom of the crossbar into the Utrecht goal: 2-2. The substitute Martijn Kaars caused a joy explosion at Volendam in the third minute of injury time. His hard bang disappeared into the net and the team of trainer Wim Jonk runs through the late victory as number seven two points on number eight Roda JC Kerkrade, which did not get further than a 3-3 draw against NAC.
