The lineups of Sevilla and AS Roma for the Europa League final are known. On the side of the Spaniards, Breda native Nemanja Gudelj is in the base, while Karim Rekik has to make do with a reserve role. Georginio Wijnaldum starts on the bench at Roma, but Paulo Dybala is at the kick-off. He is fit enough to start. The match starts at 9 p.m. and can be viewed on Veronica and ESPN 1.

Yassine Bounou defends Sevilla’s goal. The Moroccan sees the central duo Loïc Badé and Gudelj in front of him. Jesús Navas is at right back, while Alex Telles is replacing the suspended Marcos Acuña at left. Fernando and Ivan Rakitic are the controllers. Lucas Ocampos (right) and Bryan Gil (left) are on the flanks. Óliver Torres is the 10 behind striker Youssef En-Nesyri. On the Roma side, Rui Patrício is the goalkeeper. The three-man defense consists of Roger Ibañez, Chris Smalling and Gianluca Mancini. Zeki Celik (right) and Leonardo Spinazzola (left) cover the sides in midfield. Bryan Cristante and Nemanja Matic take center stage. Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini are behind striker Tammy Abraham.

In the last nine seasons, the Europa League trophy went to Sevilla almost half of the times: four times. Los Blanquirrojos seemed to have to prepare for a relegation battle this season, but everything has changed since the arrival of coach José Luis Mendilibar. Under the leadership of the Spanish coach, it not only distanced itself from the lower echelons, the Andalusians also still have a chance to qualify for the Conference League via LaLiga on the last day of play. However, Sevilla knows that if it wins the Europa League at the expense of Roma, it can even enter the Champions League. The disappointment is the lack of Acuña, who took a red card against Juventus in the semi-final.

On the side of Roma, José Mourinho has to do without Marash Kumbulla and Rick Karsdorp. Dybala has struggled with his fitness in the last month, but the Argentinian star player has become fit in time to join the selection. Just like Seville, Roma qualifies for the Champions League with a win and Amsterdam will also hope that the Romans will conquer the cup. If Roma beat Sevilla and Spezia on Sunday evening, the team from Amsterdam will immediately qualify for the group stage of the Europa League. Interesting fact: Sevilla did not lose any of their six UEFA Cup/Europa League finals, while Mourinho won all four of their European finals.
