In cooperation with opta and the Kitchen Champion Division, Voetbalzone puts together a Team of the Week every week with players who have performed the best based on statistics. Last Friday the seventh round was scheduled. Heracles Almelo can call itself the big winner due to the victory and the loss of points among the competitors, while FC Den Bosch, MVV Maastricht and NAC Breda also did excellent business.
The goal is defended this week by Michael Brouwer. The Heracles goalie kept a clean sheet for the fourth time this season. In the vanguard, a spot has been reserved for teammate Emil Hansson. The winger created five chances against Telstar (0-3), more than any other player in round seven of the Kitchen Champion Division. Willem II (Freek Heerkens and Pol Llonch) and MVV Maastricht (Rein Van Helden and Sven Blummel) also deliver two players.

The striker position is filled by Dylan Vente. The attacker of Roda JC is the top scorer of the Kitchen Champion Division with eight hits and appears to be very patient. Vente scored against FC Eindhoven (3-3) after 92 minutes and two seconds. Since the start of the 2021/22 season, the attack leader has been more accurate after the 90th minute than any other player (four times). The absolute star this round was Boyd Lucassen. The defender of NAC Breda scored twice and was the player with the most tackles won (four), recaptures (eight) and ball contacts (74).
