According to sports marketer Chris Woerts, there is irritation at AZ towards Ajax. Christian Visser, a member of the Ajax membership council, acts as a lawyer for a Legia Warsaw player who is taking legal action after the disturbances surrounding last year's Conference League match against the Alkmaarders. There was already friction between both clubs about the upcoming transfer of general manager Alex Kroes from AZ to Ajax.

“They are so irritated about Ajax at AZ,” Woerts said on Monday evening Today Inside. “First, Michael van Praag said that he only spoke sparingly with Alex Kroes. That is not allowed at all with the non-competition clause. And a player from Legia Warsaw has filed a complaint against an AZ guard for assault. And which lawyer does he take? Christian Visser, a member of the Ajax members council.”

“You have hundreds of thousands of lawyers who can defend him, but he takes Christian Visser as his lawyer,” Woerts once again zoomed in on the irritation in AZ circles. “AZ is so irritated by Ajax's attitude. They say: 'Everything we do has a counter-effect from Ajax.' Visser seems to be very good, but of course there are many good lawyers.”

Derksen
Johan Derksen heard Woerts' story and immediately responded. “I think you always take AZ's side. You must have commercial arguments for that. I am also very irritated with AZ, especially about that management. That baseball player with that failed left winger, who is now the technical director,” he said. Derksen on the directors Robert Eenhoorn and Max Huiberts.

“They send away a well-functioning and correctly behaved trainer who has good figures. Because they have to make a profit and sell all the good players,” Derksen once again let us know what he thinks about the dismissal of Pascal Jansen. “And who put a Belgian there (Maarten Martens, ed.) without charisma and any experience.”

“And I may sound spiteful, but I was happy they didn't win on Saturday.” AZ did not get further than a 2-2 draw against PEC Zwolle on its own field. Sven Mijnans prevented defeat with a goal in the 94th minute. “That's what you get, because I had that too,” René van der Gijp added.

“Because I think that director, that baseball player, is really a boss,” Derksen tackled Eenhoorn again. “Stop and thwart that director of Ajax (Alex Kroes, ed.) and do everything according to the rules. Keep yourself busy with AZ and look further, man. Who do you think you are?”
