The Public Prosecution Service demands 24 months in prison against the driver of the robbers of René van der Gijp. The public prosecutor spoke on Thursday of “serious criminal offenses” and said that the suspect has not considered the consequences. “Declarer Van der Gijp stated that the robbers carried on like savages, which frightened him,” said the officer. “The suspect was only concerned with his own gain.” For a robbery of a house in Krimpen aan de IJssel, the Public Prosecution Service demands a cell charge of 24 months, 4 months of which are conditional with deduction of pre-trial detention.
