Olympique Lyon is going through a huge sporting crisis. The seven-time champion of France lost at Stade de Reims (2-0) on Sunday afternoon and is therefore still waiting for his first victory of the season. With two points, coach Fabio Grosso’s team is bottom in Ligue 1, while Reims (13 points) climbs to third place and is only one point behind leader AS Monaco.

Particularities:
Lyon collected one point from its first four matches, which cost coach Laurent Blanc his job. Under interim coach Jean-François Vulliez, the second point was achieved against Le Havre (0-0), after which Grosso was appointed as the new manager. Lost under the Italian les Gones last week at Stade Brest (1-0) and also in Reims things went wrong on Sunday afternoon. In injury time of the first half, Reims, with Mohamed Daramy and Azor Matusiwa in the starting line-up, took the lead. Marshall Munetsi headed in a bird-free header at the first post: 1-0. Twenty minutes before the end, Yunis Abdelhamid signed for the decision. The Moroccan, like Munetsi, scored in the first half with a header at the first post: 2-0. Lyon proved unable to repair the deficit in the final phase.
