Noa Lang notices that he is currently reaping the benefits of working with a psychologist, he says in the program Tiki Taka Touzani. The Club Brugge wing attacker is convinced that he can reach the absolute top of the world, but knows that he has to ‘keep his head up’ for that. Lang states that he is currently doing well in that regard.

“I am a boy who is always himself and does not go along with the rest. What you see is what you get. I am someone who is always himself, no matter where or when. I won’t adapt to other people,” Lang describes himself. The attacker who made his debut in the Dutch national team last week is then asked how good he will be.

“The absolute world top. I won’t turn around that. I can take on the world top”, Lang replies. “It’s all in my head. If I keep my head up, I know I’m going to make it. It’s good now, I think I radiate that on the field. I enjoy what I do, in the game. I enjoy every moment, that has also been different of course. I think I’ve made steps in my head. And I still have to make it, but step by step I am getting there.”

“I now have a psychologist with whom I talk and get to work,” Lang continues. “I need that. I’ve been through quite a bit. It started with Ajax. Then I thought: what do you think, talk to a psychologist? It’s not that I talk to them every day, but just when I feel the need. I recommend it to everyone. The football world is actually a dirty world, with a lot of fake stuff. Everyone wants something from you, it brings a lot of pressure. Just look at dealing with that.”
