Feyenoord and FC Dordrecht are going to work together intensively again, it is reported 1908.nl Monday night. From next season, the leader of the Eredivisie will store more contract players with the number nineteen of the Kitchen Champion Division. The Rotterdammers especially hope to rent out foreign talents to Dordrecht. The Sheep heads currently only rent Tidjany Touré from Feyenoord.

In 2019, then general manager Jan de Jong announced a collaboration between Feyenoord and Dordrecht, but that alliance was soon abandoned. Now the clubs are going to try again. Feyenoord hopes to stable more players at the Krommedijk from next season, so that they can make minutes at a higher level at a young age. Dordrecht is satisfied with Touré and also rented an absolute tastemaker from Feyenoord during the first half of the season with Aliou Baldé.

The twenty-year-old Senegalese scored eight goals in sixteen matches at Dordrecht. With that, Baldé played himself on the radar at the Swiss FC Lausanne-Sport. Feyenoord decided to sell him for one million euros, and then stabled Touré in Dordrecht. The former Paris Saint-Germain youth player already scored three times in his first six games for Dordrecht. The twenty-year-old left winger is still in De Kuip until next summer, but Feyenoord has the option to extend the employment for two seasons.

Feyenoord has several foreign boys in the two highest youth teams. Feyenoord Under 21 play Leo Sauer (Slovakia), Youssef Amyn (Germany) and Karim Dermane (Togo). However, Sauer and Dermane already seem to be quite close to Feyenoord’s main force. Two Swedish talents play in Feyenoord Under 18 with Aleksandar Krajisnik and Jayson Ezeb. Feyenoord is still aiming for a place in the football pyramid with the Under 21, but the Rotterdam U21 team is having a disappointing season. The gap with leader Almere City Under 21 is no less than nine points.
