Radja Nainggolan has shown his true colors again. The midfielder, who has a past with AS Roma, lashed out at Lazio midfielder Mattéo Guendouzi following the disturbances in the Roman derby between AS Roma and Lazio.

The Derby della Capitale was narrowly won 1-0 by AS Roma last weekend. The only goal was scored just before half time by centre-back Gianluca Mancini. Especially after the match there was a lot of excitement.

Emotions ran high, especially for Guendouzi. The Frenchman grabbed Paulo Dybala by the throat and also lashed out at Leandro Paredes. Dybala had already provoked Guendouzi by showing him his shin guard, which showed Argentina's World Cup win. Guendouzi was a losing finalist with France in Saudi Arabia.

Nainggolan appeared last week in the Controcalciostream, which can be viewed on YouTube and Twitch. The former AS Roma midfielder did not hold back towards Guendouzi.

“Guendouzi is good for nothing. He only knows how to run. He is an idiot,” said the 30-time Belgian international. “Lazio gave away Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and replaced him with Guendouzi… What's the point of him? He is not a quality player and he should not even be playing in a team of Lazio's caliber.”

“In his place I would easily take Alfred Duncan from Fiorentina. Guendouzi is not a strong player, he is mediocre. I can name at least twelve other players who are better than him in Serie A. Tell me how many times he has scored, how many shots he releases. He has no qualities, he only knows how to slow down the game,” Nainggolan said during the stream.

Nainggolan (35) has been active in the Indonesian League 1 since November, with Bhayangkara Presisi, which is in penultimate place. He has made eight appearances for the club so far, scoring once. Between 2014 and 2018 he played 203 games in the Roma shirt.
