Julian Nagelsmann has revealed Bayern Munich’s line-up for the away game against Borussia Dortmund. Matthijs de Ligt can count on a base place in the Signal Iduna Park, while Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui have to make do with a place on the bench. The Classic starts Saturday evening at 6:30 PM.

Captain Manuel Neuer is under the bar at of the Rekordmeister. Dayot Upamecano plays alongside De Ligt in the center of the defence, while Benjamin Pavard and Alphonso Davies cover the flanks. The French right back is preferred over Nagelsmann’s Mazraoui. The ex-Ajacied, who exchanged the team from Amsterdam transfer-free for Bayern last summer, has so far achieved two basic places in the Bundesliga this season.

There is also no place for Ryan Gravenberch in midfield. The eleven-time the Dutch-international has to tolerate Leon Goretzka and Marcel Sabitzer in Dortmund. Gravenberch is still waiting for his first base place in the competition with the Germans and has so far made six raids. Jamal Musiala, who has started the season at Bayern with seven goals and six assists in twelve games, is at 10. Thomas Müller is not completely fit and is therefore missing on Saturday night.

Up front, Nagelsmann opts for the speed and focus of Leroy Sané, Sadio Mané and Serge Gnabry. Mane has started his time in Germany well with seven goals in thirteen games. In addition to Müller, defender Lucas Hernández and midfielder Bouna Sarr are also missing due to injuries. Frenchman Kingsley Coman has to settle for a place on the bench.
