NAC Breda wants to tackle the supporter who spat in the face by Jarchinio Antonia after the lost match against FC Dordrecht (1-2). The season ticket holder is facing a local and national stadium ban, reports BN DeStem.

After the lost duel with the last player of the Kitchen Champion Division, Antonia took the time to talk to the supporters of NAC. The attacker wanted to apologize for the disappointing result, but was spat in the face by one person. According to the regional newspaper, NAC “strongly disapproves” of such behavior and wants to take tough measures. The club has video footage of the incident and is in the process of identifying the perpetrator.

The relevant season ticket holder can expect a total stadium ban of at least five years, since spitting falls under the category of ‘physical violence’ according to the KNVB regulations. Supporters platform B-Side Rats has reacted to the incident after the lost game with FC Dordrecht. “Disappointment and anger are emotions that are inextricably linked when a football game is lost to the last number in your league. Expressing your dissatisfaction through word and gesture is allowed, but there are limits when it comes to expressing your dissatisfaction. Yesterday (Friday, ed.) those limits were more than amply exceeded as far as we are concerned.”

“Antonia was then treated unfairly several times from the branch, was verbally abused with the most terrible diseases and, to top it all off, spit in the face. That is degrading, rancid and in no way justifiable. No matter how dramatic a player plays or how disappointing the result is, you don’t treat people that way,” it sounds. The NAC supporters think that such behavior does not suit the club. “If you think that such behavior belongs in and around a football field, you would do well to listen to what the supporters sang yesterday after the final whistle in Dordrecht: shame on you.
