It increasingly seems that Dele Alli is leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the final phase of the transfer period. Including the The Telegraph reports that the attacking midfielder is missing from the match selection of the Spurs for Tuesday night’s meeting with Chelsea. Both London clubs will compete for a place in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening. The expectation was that Alli would play minutes against the fellow townsman.

Alli gets through RMC Sport associated with a transition to Paris Saint-Germain, although it remains to be seen whether Tottenham wishes to cooperate with an interim departure of the Englishman. Chairman Daniel Levy has not yet given permission for this, or so it sounds. PSG is reportedly betting on a lease deal for Alli, whose contract in North London will run for nearly four more years.

The future of Alli at club level has been a topic of discussion in England for some time. The midfielder participated only half in the first league game of this season against Everton (0-1 defeat). He did not play at all against Southampton (2-5) and Newcastle United (1-1). Mourinho did allow Alli playing time in the meeting with FK Shkendija (1-3) in the third qualifying round in the Europa League. He would normally also have played against Leyton Orient, but due to the corona virus, the game in the second round of the EFL Cup last Tuesday was canceled.

Alli was also recently mentioned as part of a trade deal between Tottenham and Real Madrid. The midfielder would then move to Spain, with Gareth Bale returning to his old employer. The latter actually returned to Tottenham on a rental basis, but Alli has not yet left the club of manager José Mourinho. Internazionale is also reportedly in the market for Alli, who still has a week to change clubs.
