Paris Saint-Germain has already managed to score after eight seconds in the away game at Lille OSC. The French champion rushed straight to the goal from the kick-off lesson Dogues and via Kylian Mbappe it became 0-1. That equals the fastest goal ever scored in French Ligue 1: Michel Rio scored on behalf of Caen in 1992, also after eight seconds. He did that against Cannes.

Mbappe’s goal is suspiciously like the goal that Sparta made last weekend in the home game against AZ. Then Vito van Crooij also poked the ball in the net after eight seconds and was the finisher after a rehearsed attack. The Rotterdam team turned out to have copied Bournemouth, who scored in the same way last season, and now PSG has done it ‘the Spartan way’.
