Borussia Dortmund has again managed to turn a game in the Bundesliga into a win on Saturday evening. The team of trainer Edin Terzic had every possible difficulty with VfB Stuttgart, but triumphed: 2-3. Marco Reus, who already scored against Manchester City on Tuesday in the Champions League (2-1 defeat), made another goal in the Bundesliga after a drought of fourteen games (1079 minutes). The game also got a golden edge for Jude Bellingham. The midfielder scored for the first time in the Dortmund shirt at the highest level. With the victory, Dortmund takes fifth place from Bayer Leverkusen, which will visit TSG Hoffenheim on Monday.

Dortmund seemed to be facing a difficult evening in advance, as the team managed to win only one of the last six matches in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart, on the other hand, performs very well in-house and has been unbeaten at home for six games. This time the team of trainer Pellegrino Matarazzo also quickly took the lead. Borna Sosa took care of the preparatory work from the left side of the field, after which Sasa Kalajdzic towered above everything and everyone and headed the ball diagonally behind Marwin Hitz into the goal: 1-0.

Just before the opening goal, Tanguy Coulibaly thought he was already making the opening goal, but Reus barely stopped that. Dortmund came into the game better afterwards and seemed to be on the same level via Reus. The captain controlled the ball nicely with his chest, but had to watch as goalkeeper Gregor Kobel was in the corner just in time. Two minutes after the break it was a hit. Giovanni Reyna returned the ball to Bellingham on the edge of the penalty area, after which the midfielder scored his first ever Bundesliga goal. Dortmund took full advantage of the field predominance, as Reus took the lead five minutes after the opening goal.

The captain was at the end of a well-played attack and left Kobel without a chance for the second time with a shot in the right corner. It took a long time for Stuttgart to give something back. Fifteen minutes before the end, the team came out with five men, after which Daniel Didavi came face to face with Hitz and coolly pushed the ball into the far corner: 2-2. For a long time, however, the home team could not enjoy the equalizer and a possible result. Barely a minute later, Dortmund pulled the game back to itself. Ansgar Knauff put the ball well in front of his right and took it from the edge of the penalty area into the right corner: 2-3. Stuttgart never recovered from that blow.
