Manchester United have started talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a temporary transfer of Neymar, it has been revealed L’Equipe Monday night. The French sports newspaper announces that manager Erik ten Hag is very interested in the services of the Brazilian superstar, while Neymar himself would also like to leave Paris. PSG is reportedly willing to cooperate in a rental deal.

Casemiro is reportedly at the heart of Manchester United’s interest in Neymar. The midfielder would like to play together with his compatriot and has urged Ten Hag to try to bring in the 31-year-old attacker. The Red Devils are not the only ones interested in Neymar’s services, because more clubs would like to do business with PSG. However, Manchester United is currently the most concrete, it sounds.

PSG would not be unwilling to leave Neymar, although the club is reportedly not prepared to let him leave permanently. The creative attacker is still fixed at the Parc des Princes until mid-2025 and has the option to extend his contract for a year. PSG would only want to cooperate on a one-year rental deal, it sounds like.

Neymar has been playing for PSG since the summer of 2017 and is still the most expensive footballer of all time with 222 million euros. On February 19, he played his last game for the Parisians: in the game against Lille OSC, he injured his ankle.
