Myron Boadu may be about to leave AS Monaco, it is reported Foot Mercato. The Dutch striker is sometimes even fourth choice under coach Adi Hütter, making a temporary or permanent transfer in January a realistic possibility.

The 22-year-old attacker has only played 58 minutes for AS Monaco this season, spread over 8 appearances.

At the Monegasques, Boadu has to tolerate Wissam Ben Yedder, Kevin Volland, Folarin Balogun and Breel Embolo, among others, although the latter still faces months of rehabilitation due to a serious cruciate ligament injury.

Monaco decided to transfer more than 17 million euros to AZ in 2017 to secure the arrival of Boadu. However, the striker never managed to live up to the high expectations in the principality.

Although Boadu has hardly managed to impress at Monaco, he is reportedly still very popular. According to Foot Mercato both teams from Italy and 'big clubs from the Eredivisie' have inquired about the current situation of the attacker.

Bologna is said to have already expressed interest in Boadu in September. If no interesting offers are received for the Amsterdammer in January, it cannot be ruled out that he will finish the season at Monaco. Boadu is still with the current number three in Ligue 1 until mid-2026.

The Dutchman could possibly be an interesting option for Feyenoord, as trainer Arne Slot will not be able to call on Ayase Ueda, Alireza Jahanbakhsh (both Asia Cup) and Yankuba Minteh (Africa Cup) in the coming weeks.
