Marco Verratti wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain next summer, it reports RMC Sports. The thirty-year-old midfielder, who has been playing in Paris since July 2012, would love to play for Real Madrid. As a result, PSG has to fear a departure from a pioneer of the club’s current success period, although Verratti is still stuck in the Parc des Princes until mid-2026. The right leg will have to wait and see whether Real does not team up with Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund , which is higher on the wish list.

At PSG, the mood has not been great in recent months. Since the elimination against Bayern Munich in the eighth finals of the Champions League, rumors about the club’s star players have been buzzing. Lionel Messi will almost certainly leave Paris next month, while Neymar would also be open to a new adventure. In addition, Kylian Mbappé would still not have put his dream transfer to Madrid out of his mind. Now Verratti would also make a switch to the Royal having in mind.

Verratti is no longer happy at PSG and his good relationship with Carlo Ancelotti makes Madrid his dream destination at the moment. A departure from Verratti would be the end of an era. The little Italian was taken over from Pescara in 2012 for only twelve million euros. Since then, Verratti has played in 413 official matches for PSG, in which he was responsible for eleven goals and 61 assists. The 53-time international of Italy has been seen as the engine of the Parisian star ensemble for years. PSV midfielder Xavi Simons recently praised him as the best teammate he ever had.

Real are likely to put Verratti in the waiting room until there is more clarity about Bellingham’s future, as his arrival is a top priority for the club management. According to BILD negotiations between Real and Dortmund about the nineteen-year-old Englishman will start next week. Those Boruses would aim for a transfer fee of no less than 150 million euros. Verratti is according to Transfer market worth about fifty million euros and, given its age, therefore serves as a cheaper alternative.
