Saïd Benrahma appears to be continuing his career in the Premier League this week. The Brentford winger is according to Sky Sports and many other English media about to be transferred to West Ham United. Premier League and Championship clubs have until next Friday to deal exclusively with each other, and the Algerian international appears to be benefiting from that.

West Ham and Brentford would almost have reached an agreement on a transfer fee of 33 million euros, which means that Crystal Palace, among others, is next to 25-year-old Benrahma. The winger seemed to be on his way to the exit along with Ollie Watkins in recent months, but the Bees eventually only managed to sell his ally in the attack to Aston Villa for up to € 35 million.

Benrahma was without a doubt one of the trendsetters in the Championship last season. He scored no fewer than 17 goals, including two hat-tricks, in 46 league matches and went on to be part of the PFA Team of the Year. Nevertheless, the Algerian’s good performances did not result in promotion to the Premier League. In the final of the play-offs, fellow townsman Fulham was just too strong.

Brentford will make a big profit on Benrahma if he does indeed move to West Ham for 33 million euros this week. The attacker was taken over from OGC Nice for 2.5 million euros in mid-2018. At the French club, Benrahma played only 18 games in the first and was hired out three times before moving to England and signing a five-year contract.
