Arne Slot will make one change on Thursday evening compared to last Sunday’s game against NEC Nijmegen (1-1 draw), it is expected General Newspaper. According to the morning newspaper, Lutsharel Geertruida will return to the starting lineup against FC Midtjylland. This would then be at the expense of Marcus Pedersen.
Geertruida, who was struggling with mononucleosis, is therefore fit again to play an entire match. The same goes for Sebastian Szymanski, but Slot chooses not to start with the creative Pool. On the bench, the Rotterdam team has winger Patrik Wålemark at their disposal again, the Swede is returning from illness. Quilindschy Hartman has stayed behind in Rotterdam and has yet to recover from the corona virus, while Ezequiel Bullaude will make his minutes at Feyenoord Under 21 on Saturday and therefore will not be attending Herning.
Feyenoord will start under the bar with Justin Bijlow, who will like to show himself to national coach Louis van Gaal in this important European away game.
