Liverpool will say goodbye to Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of the current season, the club reports via official channels. The foursome has an expiring contract that will not be renewed. This means that the quartet will make a transfer-free transfer.

Firmino, Keita, Milner and Oxlade-Chamberlain will make their last appearance at Anfield this Saturday as Liverpool play their final home game of the season against Aston Villa. The club announces that they will receive a special farewell. In addition, Liverpool already expresses a word of thanks in the press release for the loyal service and the successful years together.

The most notable name in the list of departing players is Keïta, who in the summer of 2018 made the switch from RB Leipzig to the Reds. The agreement was reached a year earlier and at that time Liverpool broke the transfer record for Keita, which was later broken to take over Virgil van Dijk (approximately 84.5 million euros).

Furthermore, it was already known from Firminio that he would not renew his contract, while Milner, according to the Daily Mail on its way to Brighton & Hove Albion. It is as yet unclear where the future of Oxlade-Chamberlain will lie. The foursome have played an important role in manager Jürgen Klopp’s team in recent years. For example, the Premier League, the Champions League, the European Super Cup and the World Cup for club teams were seized.
