Real Madrid will not renew Marco Asensio’s contract, reports Cadena COPE Monday night. Assensio is in the interest of Liverpool and AC Milan, among others, and can still yield a transfer fee if he leaves this summer.

Asensio has been under contract with Real Madrid since 2015. The club from the capital took him over for just under four million euros from RCD Mallorca, where he played in the youth academy. Asensio made 42 games in all competitions last season, in which he managed to find the net 12 times. In total, the left leg played 235 matches for Real Madrid. The attacker has played 29 international matches for Spain so far.
