Bayern Munich booked a victory over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening. The team of trainer Julian Nagelsmann saw how those Roten Bullen twice came back from a backlog. An own goal by Josko Gvardiol turned out to be enough for the victory after the break: 3-2. With the win, Bayern remains the leader in the Bundesliga with 52 points from 21 matches, while Leipzig remains in seventh place with 31 points.
In an exciting opening phase, Dani Olmo was close to the opening goal as he sought the top corner from the edge of the box. However, his attempt for goal narrowly missed the crossroads. Bayern then took the lead after Willi Orbán handed the ball carelessly. A shot by Robert Lewandowski could still be saved by Péter Gulácsi, but the Hungarian goalkeeper had no chance on the rebound from Thomas Müller: 1-0. On the Bavarian side, Corentin Tolisso also suffered a sloppy loss of the ball, after which the visitors countered at lightning speed. Konrad Laimer outwitted Manuel Neuer, who saw André Silva give the last push at the far post: 1-1.

The spectators in the Allianz Arena were presented with an entertaining first half full of spectacle. Müller seemed to head the 2-1 against the ropes after more than half an hour of play, but his goal was a line because Lewandowski committed a foul on Gvardiol earlier in the attack. On the stroke of half-time, .’s new lead was of the Rekordmeister a fact after all, when Kingsley Coman had a tailor-made cross for Lewandowski. It was a breeze for the Polish striker to nod in uncovered at the first post: 2-1.
Bayern consolidated the lead after the break, but again conceded a goal against the ratio. Laimer had a nice through ball on Christopher Nkunku, who remained cool-blooded face to face with Neuer and recorded his tenth league goal of the season: 2-2. However, the team of trainer Nagelsmann was not put off and went on the hunt for a new lead. The pressing of Bayern eventually became too powerful for RB Leipzig after an hour of play. A kick from Gulacsi was saved by Coman who kept the overview and found Serge Gnabry on the right flank. Gvardiol became the schlemiel of the evening, as the German attacker’s cross fell into his own goal through his leg: 3-2.
