Top players, but also clubs from home and abroad, provide an insight into the ins and outs of the football world (almost) every day via Instagram, X or other internet channels. In this edition of VZ Social attention to Dan-Axel Zagadou, who has spoken shamefully about the arbitration at Bayer Leverkusen – VfB Stuttgart via Instagram.

The newly crowned national champion seemed to be facing defeat for the first time this season. In minute 96, Stuttgart still took the lead 1-2, but the points were still shared thanks to a goal in the absolute final second by Robert Andrich.

Dan-Axel Zagadou's post.

According to Zagadou, Andrich's goal should never have counted. In the run-up to the goal, the ball landed on the arm of a Leverkusen player. The national champion would therefore have taken advantage of the situation, according to the Stuttgart player.

Zagadou, who has been on hold at Stuttgart for three months, makes himself heard via Instagram. “Exactly what they want,” he is probably referring to the arbitration. “It's an absolute shame!” In another story he also addresses the VAR.

The late equalizer left Leverkusen unbeaten for the 46th game in a row this season. The draw hardly seems to have any consequences for number three Stuttgart. The team is already practically assured of Champions League football and, with three games to go, has a seven-point lead over number five Borussia Dortmund.
