In cooperation with Opta and the Kitchen Champion Division Football zone weekly a Team of the Week together with players who have performed best based on statistics. The sixteenth round was completed last week. Heracles Almelo did the best statistically, as they delivered three players. PEC Zwolle and FC Eindhoven also make a significant contribution with both two players.
Under the bar, the honor this week is to Hidde Jurjus. The closing post managed to keep a clean sheet during De Graafschap’s away game with Helmond Sport (0-2 win). The defense is formed by Marco Rente (Heracles Almelo), Wouter Goes (Jong AZ), Bram van Polen (PEC Zwolle) and Ruben Roosken (Heracles Almelo). Nicky Souren (MVV Maastricht), Brian De Keersmaecker (FC Eindhoven) and Lucas Schoofs (Heracles Almelo) have secured a place in midfield, while Evan Rottier (FC Eindhoven), Christian Rasmussen (Jong Ajax) and Younes Taha (PEC Zwolle) the attack trio is on duty.

Younes Taha was very active on behalf of PEC Zwolle last Saturday. The left winger fired no less than four shots against NAC Breda (0-2 win). That was more than any other player from the Zwollenaren. With his two shots on target, he was both accurate. Evan Rottier also played an important role for his FC Eindhoven against Telstar (3-0 win). The attacker was good for the first time for a goal and an assist in the same Kitchen Champion Division match. Lucas Schoofs scored twice for the first time in a competition match for Heracles Almelo.
