In cooperation with Opta and the Kitchen Champion Division, Football Zone puts together a weekly Eleven of the Week with players who have performed best based on statistics. The fifteenth round was played on Friday, Sunday and Monday. De Graafschap, Heracles Almelo and Jong Ajax did the best statistically, as they all deliver two players. There is also an honorable mention for Kostas Lamprou.
Willem II’s Greek goalie defends the goal this week, as he made the most saves (five pieces) of all goalkeepers with a clean sheet. With Tristan Dekker, Roshon van Eijma, Rio Hillen and Ruben Roosken, he envisions a four-man defense. On behalf of Jong Ajax, Silvano Vos and Christian Rasmussen managed to secure a spot in the Elftal of the Week. De Graafschap is also well represented with two players. In addition to Hillen, Basar Önal’s performance also caught the eye in the 3-2 home match against Jong PSV.

Önal is the only player to score twice this season in one Kitchen Champion Division match on behalf of De Graafschap. Earlier he also succeeded against ADO Den Haag in round twelve. Rasmussen also managed to find the net twice. The Dane was on target in the goal spectacle against FC Den Bosch (4-4) and matched his season total of last season (seven hits). Vos was one of four players to both score a goal and provide an assist this round. The midfielder was the youngest of this group of four (seventeen years and 243 days).
