At Bayern Munich, there was almost a scuffle between Joshua Kimmich and assistant coach Zsolt Löw on Sunday evening after the lost away match against VfL Bochum (3-2). The two's frustrations became so high that they clashed on their way to the dressing room.

Bayern knew what it had to do with a view to the national title due to Bayer Leverkusen's earlier victory over FC Heidenheim. However, Thomas Tuchel's team was already trailing 2-1 at halftime and was unable to reverse this.

After more than an hour of play, Tuchel took Kimmich off, which angered the controlling midfielder. Images show how the German international gets into a fight with Löw.

After Kimmich's substitution, the cameras already caught a shot of him shaking his head in the Bayern dugout. Der Rekordmeister was 2-1 behind at that moment and would soon be 3-1 behind.

According to BILD a heated altercation then broke out and Löw had to be stopped by other members of the staff on his way to the dressing room as he tried to pursue Kimmich.

When Löw shouted something at Kimmich, the latter turned around and had to be held back by people from the club. The verbal battle reportedly continued into the locker room.

Due to the defeat, Bayern is now eight points behind leader Bayer Leverkusen, which has never managed to become champion in Germany. It is the third defeat in a row for Tuchel's team in all competitions.
