The doctoral candidate in the Premier League has signed a four-year contract with Fulham. The right-back, who comes from Olympique Lyon, passed the medical examination without any problems on Tuesday. Lyon received 3.2 million euros for Tete and also negotiated a resale percentage. The French will receive ten percent of the transfer fee if Tete Fulham leaves for more than ten million euros.

It’s a wonderful feeling. I feel blessed to be here, “the 24-year-old Tete told Fulham’s club channel. I can not wait to start my new adventure and meet my new teammates. When I heard of Fulham’s interest, I was immediately enthusiastic. I talked to people around me and soon knew I wanted to leave Lyon to join Fulham. The team is now back in the Premier League and I will give 100 percent to keep us there. ”

Tete made eighty appearances in the shirt of the French club in three seasons. The Gones took over the 24-year-old right-back in 2017 from Ajax. At the time, the transfer involved an amount of four million. Tete leaves Lyon with one goal and nine assistants to his name.

French journalist Manu Lonjon announced on Monday night during the Dutch national team’s Nations League match with Italy (0-1) that Tete will continue his career at Fulham. The fullback was on the Orange Reserve Bank at the time. A day later it appears that Tete is indeed making the switch to the West London club, where Scott Parker is at the helm as manager.

Tete joins Fulham with Denis Odoi and Cyrus Christie, the other right-backs in the selection of the cottagers. Perhaps the winger will make all his Premier League debut against Arsenal on behalf of Fulham, who have previously managed to bring Anthony Knockaert, Harrison Reed, Mario Lemina and Antonee Robinson to Craven Cottage.
