Bayern Munich did excellent business again on Sunday evening in the hunt for the Bundesliga title. In their own Allianz Arena, the reigning champion was too strong for VfB Stuttgart 3-0. Harry Kane scored two goals. Kim Min-jae made his first in the Bayern shirt.

Bayern managed to take the lead after just two minutes of play. Leroy Sané rounded Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nübel and then set it up for Kane, who scored his nineteenth goal of this Bundesliga season.

For twenty minutes, Thomas Tuchel's team seemed to be 2-0. Defender Kim Min-jae nodded the ball in from an indirect free kick. However, he was in an offside position and so the goal was canceled.

Bayern became dangerous twice more through Sané in the remainder of the first half. The German winger shot a free kick hard on target and also did not have his sights set on a one-on-one opportunity. He passed Nübel again, but this time the corner was too difficult and he shot wide.

In the closing stages of the first act, veteran Thomas Müller scored the second Bavarian goal. After checking the VAR, this was also disallowed for offside, allowing Stuttgart to breathe a sigh of relief for the second time.

In the second half der Rekordmeister still away from Stuttgart. Kane nodded an indirect free kick against the ropes and ten minutes later Kim, who saw a goal disallowed in the first half, scored the third Bavarian goal from a corner.

Thanks to his two goals, Kane now has twenty Bundesliga goals. The record is held by Robert Lewandowski. He once scored 41 goals in a Bundesliga season. If Kane continues like this, he will shatter that record: he has scored twenty in fifteen matches so far.

With the victory, Bayern is only four points behind leader Bayer Leverkusen. The team from Munich also has a match in hand. Stuttgart remains fourth.
