Great news for Dean Huijsen. The Dutch top talent has been permanently transferred to the first selection of by his club Juventus la Vecchia Signora. The club from Turin announced this through official channels.

Huijsen had been one of the standouts in Juventus’ Next Gen team for some time and was therefore part of Massimiliano Allegri’s selection several times. His debut did not materialize until last month. Then he was allowed to participate for thirteen minutes in the top match against AC Milan (0-1).

On Tuesday, Juventus reported that Huijsen, like Kenan Yildiz, is now definitively part of the selection. “For both players, who have been integrated into the first-team squad for some time now, this is the culmination of a journey that started with the Juventus Under-19 shirt and continued with the Next Gen squad,” Juventus wrote .

Huijsen made his debut against Milan thirteen minutes before the end by relieving the tired Federico Gatti. With Huijsen on the field, Juve’s defense held firm and the lead was taken. Afterwards, Huijsen could count on rave reviews.

“I’m happy that a boy from 2005 made his debut and was icy calm,” Allegri told reporters. DAZN. “He’s going to have a great career, he’s done great things.”

“He played calmly, he played easy balls, he didn’t cause his teammates trouble, he made an important intervention… just like Ciro Ferrara,” Allegri drew the comparison with the former defender. He himself was also impressed.

“He comes from 2005, with the first ball he hits in Serie A he stops Rafael Leão,” said Ferrara, 49-time Italy international. “I can identify with him: I also made my debut at the age of eighteen in an important match, Napoli – Juventus. My first action was kicking Zbigniew Boniek. Huijsen did it better.”

the Dutch or la Furia Roja?
Huijsen was born in Amsterdam, but moved to Spain at the age of five. Huijsen therefore largely grew up in Marbella, located in Andalusia. ASH wrote at the end of last month that his big dream is to play for the Spanish national team. Despite the fact that the man has already played for several youth teams of the Dutch national team and is now even captain of the Netherlands Under 19.

The news is striking, considering Huijsen said this in March of this year Football zone: “The option to play for Spain was there, but I’m not thinking about that at the moment. In principle, I just play my international matches for the Netherlands, although you never know how things will turn out. Normally I will just play for the Dutch team.”
