Jose Mourinho seems to know nothing about a switch to Paris Saint-Germain. The Portuguese coach of AS Roma declares the day before the semi-final match with Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League that he has had no contact with the PSG board. The French superpower seems to want to say goodbye to Christophe Galtier after this season and Mourinho is one of the leading candidates to take over his position at the Parc des Princes.

“PSG? If they’ve been looking for me, they haven’t found me. And they haven’t approached me either,” Mourinho emphasized in a response to Sky Italy. The trainer’s management is in talks with PSG, the French sports channel knew RMC Sports report on Monday. Agent Jorge Mendes has already had some conversations with Luis Campos, the technical director of the Parisians. Mourinho himself therefore does not yet want to give a substantive response to the alleged negotiations with PSG.

They are great at that. They defend, wait for the opponent to lose the ball and then they can hardly be stopped. They have very fast players,” Mourinho compliments Alonso and his squad.

According to Mourinho, Alonso gets the optimal return from Leverkusen. “He uses a way of playing that suits his players. Five or six of his players can run the 100 meters with Marcell Jacobs at the Olympics,” the coach refers to the Italian athlete who won gold twice at the Olympics in 2021. Play in Tokyo.
