Jeremiah St. Juste can return to the Bundesliga after six months, reports Sports1. Eintracht Frankfurt, in addition to Philipp Max of PSV, would also like to strengthen itself with the 26-year-old defender of Sporting Portugal. St. Juste exchanged FSV Mainz 05 for the Portuguese last summer, but would not feel comfortable there. A return to Germany is therefore a realistic option.

The technical director of Eintracht, Markus Krösche, is still busy looking for defensive reinforcements in the last days of the winter transfer window. The Germans have already almost received Max from PSV, but would prefer to see a central defender as well. The number six in the Bundesliga sees a suitable candidate in St. Juste and wants to rent him from Sporting until the end of the season.

The former Feyenoord player mainly has to make do with a place on the bench in Portugal and is therefore reportedly not comfortable with Sporting. St. Juste therefore wants to return to the Bundesliga, despite his contract continuing until mid-2026. The defender played 69 games in three years for Mainz, which took him over from Feyenoord in 2019 for eight million euros.

St. Juste made a good impression during his time in Germany, which led to the move to Sporting. Partly due to injuries, the defender has not been able to break any pots with the team of trainer Rúben Amorim so far, so the Portuguese are not unwilling to a temporary departure. St. Juste has a past in the Netherlands with Feyenoord and sc Heerenveen, for whom he played fifty and 75 games respectively.
